Speaking to media persons, JCTU district Coordinator Admaru Sripathy Acharya alleged that this is the ninth time within a year that the Union government is hiking the price of petrol, posing fake reason of price hike of crude oil in the international market. He said the price hike has its negative impact on the day to day life of layman.
Common man has been taken for granted by the government to embezzle. The entire life activity is paralysed owing to the price rise. Union government is following crony capitalistic attitude. It is the puppet of corporate sector, he ridiculed.
Acharya said government should support projects aiding the development of crude oil resources in the country. He said that the protest will be taken up simultaneously in Kundapur taluk and Shastri circle followed by a huge rally.
