Spikers won 25-16, 25-17, 25-19. In the other match, Yanam Tigers posted a facile 25-20, 25-20, 25-15 win over the Kerala Killers. The Nadarajan-led Spikers, who have been in the pink of form since the start of the tournament, proved their prowess on the court with Kapil Dev setting up spikers Prabhakaran and Karthik on many occasions to give the Spikers the edge against a less-than-impressive Warriors, who had won the first leg of the tournament in Bangalore.

The Warriors were off target on many occasions and their attacking duo of Omvir Mann and Jitender Kumar failed to live up to their tag for most part as the Spikers went from clinching the first set to finishing the match in quick time.

The Tigers were clinical as they put aside the Killers without so much as a fight. Yanam once again relied on the deadly combination of Subba Rao and Tom Joseph on the front. V John Christopher too upped the ante and guided the Tigers to a comfortable win.

Results: Chennai Spikers bt Maratha Warriors 25-16, 25-17, 25-19; Yanam Tigers bt Kerala Killers 25-20, 25-20, 25-15; Hyderabad Chargers bt Karnaraka Bulls 25-19, 25-12, 25-21.
