Speaking at an interactive session organised by the Advocates Association of Bangalore, she promised that the issue of APL cards would resume soon in the City, while in the rural areas it would resume after one-and-half-months.
She said that of the 1.24 crore ration cards in the State, there were over 50 lakh bogus cards which need to be scrutinised.
Noting that the process for scrutinising the bogus cards was on, she said that once this was over, new APL and BPL cards would be issued.
