In the brand’s latest Spring-Summer collection, fit is one of the main things that has been given importance to.The women’s fit initiative focuses on denims for three different kinds of body type — sleek, classic and curvy along with the ‘super shape’ which is a figure enhancement fit.

“When it comes to jeans, it’s very important to get the right fit as the fit of the jeans makes or breaks the look of a person,” says Bhaskar Kelkar, the business head of the brand. For petite girls, Bhaskar suggests to go in for a skinny fit. “They will make your legs look firm and not too thin. And if you have great legs, show them off with a pair of cute denim fold up shorts which is not only in vogue this summer but also gives you the height,” he adds.

Tweak up the outfit with contrasting shades of tops. If it’s a dark coloured jeans, team it up with a lighter shade top and vice versa.

“This being a casual smart look, one can really experiment with a wide range of accessories but make sure you don’t go overboard as well,” adds Bhaskar.

Two new fits, narrow slim and skinny, have been introduced in the men’s range along with the mainstream regular and slim straight.

Bhaskar adds, “For boys who are not very tall, a slim fit jeans will give them the desired height. Balance the entire look with a half-sleeved shirt and a T-shirt inside. This makes for a perfect ‘Street Look’.”

For those guys who are blessed with good height or are a bit on the broader side, Bhaskar suggests skinny fit jeans which gives a leaner look.  He feels that this summer, the ‘Sailor Look’ is completely in for the boys. This comprises flat front shorts, which Bhaskar says, are in vogue this season.

Team that with a V-neck vertical striped T-shirt to give the outfit a ‘sailor look’.  “And to keep it elegant, choose a contrasting coloured ribbed tee which gives a more stylish and confident feel,” he adds.  When it comes to footwear, Bhaskar suggests to go for ankle-length shoes or even boat shoes to complete the look.

“Belts, sling bags and even colourful bands on the hand are good options for accessories,” says Bhaskar.
