According to the BDA, the land measuring 9 acres and 8 guntas was illegally occupied by people in 2002. The matter was later placed before the High Court, which earlier this year, gave a verdict in favour of the city development agency. The BDA has stated that the land according to the market value today is worth Rs 30 crore.
