Assistant coaches Mohd Riaz from Chennai and Karnataka’s BJ Cariappa reached SAI on Friday morning while newly-appointed coach Michael Jack Nobbs and SS Grewal -- who will oversee the camp during the Australian’s absence -- will arrive on Sunday.<br /><br />Three more assistant coaches -- Jugraj Singh, Clarence Lobo and Baljit Singh Saini -- were scheduled to reach by Saturday. “We are completely geared up to host the camp,” said SAI South Centre Director Dr G Kishore. “After a long time we have got a chance to host a senior men’s hockey camp and I am sure the players will be extremely satisfied with the facilites.”<br /><br />The main pitch is ready with minor work on the artificial lights to be addressed on Saturday. The Madras Engineering Group technicians, who have obliged SAI’s request to install a temporary sprinkler system on the new second turf, will continue with their work on Saturday.<br /><br />With over 100 people attending the camp, including the 91 probables, accommodation could pose a major concern but Kishore brushed it aside. “We’ve just inaugurated the new hostel that will house the core 60. The remaining 40 odd will be put up at the old hostel. <br /><br />Arrangements have already been made for food and other needs. Everything is in place and the camp should go off without a hitch from Monday.”<br /></p>
