<p>The routes of Baltal and Pahalgam leading to the holy shrine have been affected.<br />“We had to suspend the yatra as it was raining at the base camps of Pahalgam and Baltal and other places on the two routes. The down pour had triggered off landslides at several places. However, the chopper services from Baltal to the holy cave of Amarnath operated for some time in the morning,” said police official Abdul Rashid.<br /><br />He added that the pilgrimage can resume on Monday only if the weather conditions improve. The meteorological department has predicted more rains not only on Yatra routes but at other places of Kashmir during next 24 hours.</p>
