The huge number of people that turned up on Saturday at the project office at Provident Housing's Welworth City site proved the point. Welworth City, a 3,360 apartment affordable housing project, was opened for booking on Friday.

Provident (a wholly owned subsidiary of Puravankara Projects) is selling two and three BHK flats at a price ranging between Rs 14.90 lakh and 20.90 lakh on its project located on the Doddabalapur Main road.

Explaining the rush to book flats, Provident Housing MD Jayakar Jerome, said, "It is because Welworth City is the right choice for people of Bangalore to live a quality life, in a good location, with all the facilities and infrastructure made available to them."

Welworth City will also has facilities like cinema hall, police outpost and school which are necessary for living in comfort, pointed out the company.

Due to the new BIAL airport, there has been tremendous improvement in infrastructure facilities made available to the Yelahanka - Doddaballapur road.

The roads have been widened, transportation facilities have been enhanced vastly in that area, the company said. In the first phase Provident will complete 1000 apartments for possession.
