Stars refuse to allot dates

Everyone knows that Mani Ratnam was admitted to the hospital recently. Sources say that after recuperating from his illness, the famous director is all set to shoot the climax of his latest venture Raavan in the Chalakudy forest area (in South India) this month. But that is only if all goes well.

Unfortunately, all the artistes like Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai and Southern star Vikram have told the director that they have already given over 100 days and hence, cannot spare any more dates. As a result, Mani is all charged up and is planning to finish the climax at a blitzkrieg speed. Sources say that the film-maker is trying to wind up the shoot in just 45 days.
