The website suffered a technical glitch within a fortnight of the launch of its upgraded version.
But some say there could be a conspiracy behind the crash as the website provides online delivery and management of records of landed properties, including those of “influential people”.
Rubbishing apprehensions, Revenue Secretary Rajiv Chawla said the failure of the server could be due to a technical glitch.
Sources in the Revenue Department said the State data centre was presently functioning at Khanija Bhavan maintained by a private telecom firm.
It would be soon shifted to the Vikas Soudha where the portal would be run at a ‘state-of-the-art’ facility.
