<p>A budget meeting had been convened at Goruru travellers bungalow on March 21. Some members expressed their displeasure about discussing accounts of five to six months at one meeting and approving it was not proper. <br /><br />Some alleged that they had received just a notice about the meeting but not the minutes of the last meeting.<br /><br />President Shankar tried to defend the long gap between two meetings by stating there were earlier examples of such delay in convening meetings.<br /><br />Congress councillor Yeshwanth said if the president does not promise to convene monthly meetings regularly and present the accounts, a dharna would be staged. <br /><br />Support<br /><br />He was supported by Banagari Manju of the BJP, Shyamsundar, Prasanna and others. Shankar got emotional and resorted to a pledge.<br /><br />The Goruru meeting came under attack of the opposition members.
