Akshaya Patra gets injunction

The suit sought a temporary injunction against Balaji Subhash from spreading false information and restrain media outlets from publishing, telecasting false and derogatory news to damage the status and dignity of the plaintiffs.

The court order stated, “Issue temporary injunction against defendant restraining him from making any statement against the plaintiffs which amounts to defamatory in nature and restraining the defendants from publishing, telecasting any news or statements which are derogatory or defamatory in nature affecting the reputation of the plaintiffs till the next date of hearing.”
