<p> According to police, the arrested are B B Kumar (26), a resident of Madikeri Hill Road, Hosamane P Dilip Kumar (25) and Auto driver H S Bharathesh (25). However, the main accused Billavara Manu a resident of Kedakal village is absconding. B V Shanthappa Rai who was working in Siddarth resort in Kedakal was returning home in his two wheeler on July 25 when miscreants assaulted him and threw the body into a drain. <br /><br />Under the leadership of DySP M Narayana a team had been constitued to solve the case. The main accused Billavara Manu was involved in the theft of wooden logs seven years ago. Shanthappa Rai had informed the police. <br /><br />The team included P Basavaraju, Thimme Gowda, H K Sannappa, K G Vasanthkumar, M P Prabhakar, M B Sumesh, B P Sampath Rai, K D Thimmaiah, K G Madhusudhan and Albert D’Souza.</p>
