Directed by Soumya Varma, the play is a unique attempt to explore the possibilities of converting a full-length novel into a solo narrative using a variety of acting styles, techniques, colourful costumes, props and music.

The narrative, laced with humour, is a powerful depiction of the lives of rural women in a feudal set-up.

The play has been staged at several major national festivals and international venues to highly appreciative audiences.

One of the more recent shows of the play was at the 15th Los Angeles Women’s Theatre Festival in the US. Singarevva and the Palace is the only Indian play to have been staged at the festival till date.

Tickets are available at the venue in advance. For details, call Kriyative Theatre on 9620604479. To buy tickets online, visit www.indianstage.in.
