She arrived in helicopter at 11 am and met Bharathi Theertha Swamiji and took his blessings. She was bit hesitated when Mutt elephants Srilakshmi and Jayalakshmi approached to welcome her. However, later she took their blessings as well.
Army officials were seen enthusiastically clicking photographs of the marvellous architecture of Vidyashankar temple to take the memories of their visit to their native. DIG (Western range) Gopal Hosur and Primary Education Minister Vishweshwara Hegde Kageri were present. Owing to the security purpose, entry to the temple was banned for sometime.
Except K R Narayanan and Frakrudin Ali Ahmmed, all the Presidents have visited Sringeri.
