Taparia Tools Ltd was incorporated in 1965 and since then it has been manufacturing and supplying high quality hand tools.

The company, located at Nasik in Maharashtra, also started manufacturing facilities in Goa to augment its manufacturing capacities and has set up modern facilities in its Goa plant.

The production of quality hand tools was started in collaboration with A B Bahco of Sweden, a company known world over for its quality.

Taparia Tools Ltd employs 1137 persons, out of which 138 engineers and skilled workers are engaged in production (services). The engineers and qualified inspectors take unremitting care to ensure strict and exacting quality standards.

Almost all industrial houses, non-industrial and household customers use Taparia hand tools. The performance of Taparia Tools has been acclaimed by all users and this has become the first choice of the buyers in India today.

This unique position of first preference has been achieved by the quality standards maintained in the company.

The machine shop consists of many special purpose machines, specially designed to produce components of hand tools to meet rigid specifications consistently, as to match the rigid specification, consistently laid down by the (erstwhile) collaborators. The use of these special purpose machines ensures complete adherence to the specific dimensions. The quality assurance department has installed many sophisticated machines in the lab which help them check material composition, precision dimensional details and other parameters, such as hardness, microstructure, surface finish, etc.

Quality control is enforced at every possible stage such as receipt of raw material at various stages of components production, parts in their finished form as well as in the complete assembled stage.

Research and development is a continuous process in the company. Sophisticated machines are being installed to update technology and to manufacture items of most rigid specification.

Metallurgical and non-metallurgical improvements in the R&D department are always on to improve the quality of existing products. The R&D department plays a vital role in introducing or adding new products to the existing range.
