Civic workers seek transfer of CMC commissioner

They took out a procession from the CMC building to the DC’s office.
Submitting a memorandum, they warned of intensifying the fight if the Commissioner is not transferred within a week.

A few days back they had staged a symbolic protest for two days opposing the style of functioning of the Municipal Commissioner.

Their salary was cut for two days as the Commissioner had mentioned in the attendance that they were on mass leave for two days.

The Association Taluk President B Annaiah urged the DC to give them those two days salary.

They in their complaint to the DC said that the Commissioner has not been signing the documents related to the trade licence.

The workers in the City Municipal Corporationare constantly harassed.

The statements claiming that the Commissioner is being harassed in the Corporation is far from reality, said the civic workers.
