KDA Chairman Mukhyamantri Chandru said the seminar will focus on new research areas in Kannada and several litterateurs including Chidananda Murthy, N S Tharanath will participate. The seminar will be held at Freedom Park auditorium on August 26. Other programmes planned include a week-long convention in Kasargod on the harmony between Kannada, Tulu, Konkani, Byari, an awareness programme on Kannada for students in colleges and convention of ‘Punjab Kannadigas’ in Bangalore on Aug 30.
