A three-judge bench headed by Justice Altmas Kabir, however, pulled up the Enforcement Directorate (ED) over non-appearance of Additional Solicitor General Harin Ravel when it took up the matter during the proceedings. The ED had challenged the order passed by Bombay High Court granting bail to Khan on August 12. After over two-hour-long arguments, the court allowed the plea of the ED but minced no words in expressing its displeasure over the non-appearance of the senior counsel.
It even went on to threaten that the court may vacate the stay earlier granted by an order. on August 16.
