HC adjourns hearing on BSY's bail pleas

Directs Lokayukta to file objections

When the matter came up for hearing in the morning, Yeddyurappa who is facing charges of illegally denotifying vast extent of land within the Bangalore Development Authority limits, sought to implead the complainant Sirajin Basha in the matter. He filed a memo in this regard.

The other case pertained to a complaint by JD(S) leader Y S V Datta charging him with financial irregularities in the award of tenders for the Upper Bhadra project to a private firm.

An FIR has been filed against him in this case.

Justice L Narayana Swamy, who heard the matter, granted time till August 22 to Lokayukta police to file objections and adjourned the hearing.
