India will play Pakistan on September 3 at Derby FC before taking on England U-23 in East London on September 6. The team will wind up the series with another game against Pakistan in Glasgow on September 9.
All India Football Federation General Secretary Kushal Das expressed his happiness in the U-23 team getting the much-needed exposure in England.
“The All India Football Federation is happy the boys are getting the right kind of exposure. Clash of the Titans India-Pakistan-UK Tour has generated huge interest among the fans in India and we are eagerly looking forward to the Tour,” he said.
The U-23 Indian squad is presently training in the preparatory camp for the tour under coach Sukhwinder Singh. The Team will leave for England on August 27.
“As we are in just the second day of the camp we are concentrating on the physical conditioning of the players and trying to improve upon their mental strength,” Sukhwinder said.
