JOIN USActress Harshika Poonachcha recently celebrated her 22nd birthday. The actress was all smiles as she welcomed the day with messages and greeting from her fans, friends and family. The actress, who has many films in her kitty, has taken on a new role — as the director of an event management company. No it’s not the role in a movie!
The cherry on the cake was when she launched the new company on her birthday itself. “I always believed that one must constantly grow in life. While acting is my passion, I also wanted to try something new that is different from acting. I was ready to take on this new role with open arms,” she says. The actress is quick to add that she won’t be organising just film events. “Just because I am an actress doesn’t mean I will be doing only film events. I want to explore different kinds of events but for now, we are going to concentrate on fashion-based events and celebrity profile management,” she adds.
Balancing the new role and movies will be a task for this new businesswoman. “But I am ready for the challenge. I am young and have the enthusiasm to learn and explore new things. So I want to make good use of this opportunity,” she sums up.
