'Flower show contest a hit'

Society's deputy director Jagadeesh said, "The reason for such high participation could have been due to advanced publicity to the event. A total of 803 people participated in Ikebana, vegetable carving and other floral arrangements Lalbaugh Botanical Garden on Saturday. The prize distribution ceremony for the show will be held on August 14.
