Police sources said Tulfikar Ali (29), a native of Ramanda district in Tamil Nadu was arrested for smuggling Ketamine. He was caught when the customs officials grew suspicious about him and searched his baggage.
Hidden in ice cream pot
The officials found Ketamine at the bottom of an ice cream pot. On interrogation Tulfikar Ali revealed that he got the consignment from a Bangladesh national Rajesh.
He said, Rajesh agreed to pay him Rs 10,000 if he could despatch the drug to Jakarta.
The police booked him under relevant sections of the IPC and NDPS Act.
