Lokayukta Court Special Judge N K Sudhindra Rao extended the judicial custody of the trio, which ended today.

The court also directed issue of notice to the jailor to provide necessary medical treatment immediately to the third accused S V Srinivas who was suffering from heart problem, warning  "there should be no lapse".

Meanwhile, the court directed Superintendent of Police Lokayukta, to personally execute non bailable warrants against Jaggaiah, the fourth accused and Venkaiah, the fifth accused as these had not been executed by the Deputy Superintendent.

The court had earlier issued NBW's against the two, who are absconding. Jagadish, Srinivas and four other accused were present in court.

On the non-appearance of Katta, the court observed that the jailor had endorsed on his (Katta) warrant that he could not be present as he was under medical treatment as an in-patient in Victoria Hospital.

Counsel for Srinivas, who was brought in an ambulance to court, submitted that he was suffering from heart problem.

Subsequently Srninivas himself looking ill, submitted that despite apprising the jailor of his heart problem and requesting for medical attention, "apart from ECG, no medical treatment was given".

On August 23, the High Court had rejected the bail applications of Katta, Jagadish and Srinivas who were arrested and remanded to judicial custody by the lower court on August 8.
