Papaiah, father of Venkatachalapathi, in a complaint has stated that his son committed suicide unable to bear the torture from his newly-married wife and her relatives.
Venkatachalapathi married Krishnaveni of Chinnaganahalli two months ago.

Venkatachalapathi’s parents were opposed to the marriage. However, owning to the pressure and threats from Krishnaveni’s relatives he married her at Bangarpet Sub-Registrar Office.

Papaiah stated that his son couldn’t bear the humiliation from his wife relatives and took the extreme step.

A case has been registered against Krishnaveni, Yallamma, Ramappa, Jayappa and Mahalakshmi.
