IISc's walk and cycle day

Students from various departments will avoid using vehicles as a gratitude to mother nature, whom they consider to be a greatest teacher, the Students’ Council of the Institute said.

The Council organised a campus tour by walk from the main building, to the Jubilee Gardens and then back to the hostels/labs on Monday evening, as a symbolic gesture to kickstart the initiative.
