Karnataka HC judge Nagaraj quits

Sources in the Law Department said Justice Nagaraj’s letter of resignation had been sent to President Pratibha Patil for acceptance. However K Somashekhar, Registrar, Judicial, at the court, declined to comment, saying that he “cannot talk to the media.” Justice Nagaraj has been a High Court judge since past four years. He was appointed as additional judge in the Karnataka High Court on July 4, 2007, and became a permanent judge on July 3, 2009.
