He will commence work from Monday. Both Singh and Justice Shah will conduct inspection of mining areas in Goa for four days. Besides, Singh has set up nine teams of officials to survey mining leases in the neighbouring state.
Singh was heading the Lokayukta investigation team on illegal mining in Karnataka.
