O P Munjal, Chairman of Hero Cycles Ltd, has been conferred Ludhiana Management Association (LMA) Life Time Achievement Award for 2010, for his contributions in the growth of industry.
Munjal, has been instrumental in bringing Ludhiana on to the international map. Hero Cycles produces more than 19,000 cycles a day. Last year it set the record by producing more than 55 lakh cycles.
