Set up by Adhuna Bhabani Akhtar and Osh Bhabani in 2004, the b:blunt brand has since become known as the premier salon group in the country, synonymous with the standards ‘fit for a celebrity’. Moreover, it was launched by actress Deepika Padukone.

Deepika Padukone, who has previously worked with Adhuna, says, “I loved working with Adhuna for Karthik Calling Karthik. I was very happy with the different looks she gave me for my role. So I have a good rapport with her. This initiative they have taken by opening up a salon here is very good as this City really needs one.”

The salon is located right in the heart of the City on Magrath Road near Garuda Mall. After the success of their salons and academies in Mumbai, Pune and recently in Delhi, b:blunt is all geared up to share their passion with the City. Says Adhuna, “We are very excited about this as it is an important milestone in the rolling out of our ‘destination hair salon’ chain nationally.”

She adds, “Hairstyling is a very personal and private affair. While we are actively involved with the Bollywood film industry, we also deliver a world-class experience that makes all our clients look and feel like celebs themselves.”

With prominent hairdressers and aspiring stylists from Bangalore, the b:blunt opening workshop gave a first-hand experience of b:blunt’s unique styling techniques and training programmes, followed by an interactive session where hairstylists and aspirants discussed ideas and concepts on hairstyling. Brent Barber then showcased b:blunt’s very own Spring-Summer collection of iconic hairstyles – ‘the 022’ with a demonstration on live models.

With their range of services — from hair-cutting to waxing and threading to makeup and facials — the exceptionally trained experts cater to all beauty needs. Along with this, the salon also features the first-of-its-kind ‘Blow Out Bar’.

With an enchantingly cosy yet chic ambience, you can get anything from manicures to cosmetics and hair-dressing done. About the bar, Osh Bhabani explains, “The concept of the ‘Blow Out Bar’ begins and ends with us wanting to offer not just service but an experience.”

It is not just a place where you can go for your beauty needs but it is one where you can relax with friends or even make new ones while your nails are being done or hair styled.

Osh says, “We want to make this place a rage among the Bangaloreans. This bar, along with our salon, will take hairdressing to the next level.”
