He was speaking after paying a visit to Sri Venkateshwara Temple to Bangaru Tirupathi, Guttahalli on the outskirts of the City on Monday.

After paying obeisance to the Samadhi of M V Krishnappa, who was the founder of Bangalore Dairy, Somashekhar Reddy said, M V Krishnappa had raised his voice in the Parliament in support of the farmers and was responsible for the import of Jersy cows from abroad. This has helped lakhs of farmers to lead a decent living, he said.
The KMF Milk Union will be extended to Hyderabad, Karnulu, Ananthpur, Kadapa, Varangal, Somashekhar Reddy added.
