At a high-powered committee meeting on preparations for the festival, Sadananda Gowda said he had directed IGP, State intelligence, to review the situation and submit a report before he meets Chidambaram.
At the 150th birth anniversary of Sir M Visvesvaraya organised by Karnataka Engineers Association, the chief minister said the government is planning to declare September 15, the birth anniversary of Sir M V as ‘Engineer’s Day’. A decision in this regard would be taken in the Cabinet soon.
