<p>The Palike’s Chief Health Officer (CHO), Dr L T Gayathri said that the health centres and Palike dispensaries were receiving a lot of suspected cases. <br /><br />“Currently all the 113 medical facilities are assisting in screening the people who are coming in with complaints,” she said.<br /><br />Patients are only being screened at these Palike centres. <br /><br />“We are following the Government guidelines and referring the patients to RGICD, Victoria and a other private hospitals,” she added. <br /><br />However, the Palike distributed Tamiflu tablets free of cost to nearly 57 cases. <br /><br />According to the Chief Health Officer, the drug was available in sufficient quantity with the Palike. <br /></p>
