<p>The incident occurred at the residence of Nagabushan, at seventh main, first stage in Vijayanagar here. He had parked Hyundai i-10 running on petrol, on the premises on Saturday night. <br /><br />He woke up to a sound around 4.30 am only to see smoke billowing out. The car had caught fire with flame emanating from a wheel. <br /><br />He soon informed fire personnel, but in vain as the car had been totally burnt.<br />In his complaint to Vijayanagar police Nagabushan has alleged that the documents of the car is also gutted in the incident. <br /><br />The police who have registered the case as misfire would refer the case to electrical inspector, as is the procedure for further investigation into the incident.</p>
