CM holds meet with Eshwarappa

Gowda, soon after his arrival from Gujarat, was closeted with his senior party leaders and Sangh leader Santosh at Krishna, the home office of the chief minister, it is learnt.

The present KMF president, G Somashekara Reddy, brother of former minister Janardhana Reddy, who is in CBI custody, insisted on being continued in the post, forcing the chief minister to take a tough stand.

The meeting discussed the KMF election in addition to the controversy surrounding Lokayukta Shivaraj Patil for alleged flouting of norms while purchasing sites. There is a growing demand seeking Patil’s resignation.
