Addressing a press conference in Koppal on Sunday, he said though the former Health Minister Sriramulu tendered his resignation 15 days ago, the Speaker is yet to accept it.
While the Speaker said that the former minister tendered his resignation under pressure, Sriramulu clarified that he did it on his own volition and he would not withdraw it.
Despite the clarification given by Sriramulu, the Speaker is not accepting the resignation, a testimony to his one-sidedness, Siddaramaiah said. The only way to halt the Speaker’s partisanship in all matters is to move a no-confidence motion against him in the forthcoming session, he added.
