Fresh Juices

The place has been serving all varieties of fruit juices and milkshakes for the last 20 years and has been maintaining the same quality since then. The juice shop was started by Venkatesh who hails from a small village in Baindur taluk. “I had worked in some restaurants before opening this eatery. With the aim of serving the customers with fresh and hygienic stuff, I decided to open this place,” he says. Because of labour shortage, he has restricted his menu to juices and milkshakes.

The shop offers a variety of juices made out of lemon, grape, mango, pineapple, watermelon, mosambi, orange, sapota and other fruits, which are very fresh. Also, one can’t miss the ‘Cocktail’, which is the USP of Yaksha Sagar. It is made by mixing more than three fruits which really gives a unique taste. “Mosambi juice has an ever increasing demand as it’s available through all seasons. The mango and watermelon juices sell faster in summer,” adds Venkatesh.

As the shop is located opposite BDA shopping complex, it has a big crowd during weekends as people are out for shopping. The shop is quite spacious and customers can sit and enjoy every sip of their drink. As most of the customers are regulars, they share a close bond with the owner.

Sachit, a student, says that he is a regular customer and a big fan of ‘Cocktail’. “Whenever I hang around here with friends, I definitely pay a visit to this place. ‘Cocktail’ is very popular with us and we also order mosambi and sapota juices. The juices are fresh and the prices are reasonable,” he says.

Adds Chintan, his friend, “I have been coming to the place for more than four years. The quality has remained the same over the years.” The shop opens at 7 am and closes at 10.30 pm. Sri Yaksha Sagar is located on 21st Cross, 21st Main, Banashankari 2nd stage. For details, call 269119171.
