Thieves struck at a house in the High Grounds police limits recently and fled with diamonds, gold and silver articles, and Rs 50,000 in cash, all valued at Rs nine lakh.
According to police, the theft took place at the residence of Srinivas at 2nd Cross, Vasanthnagar, when he was away in Jaipur on Tuesday. The thieves had broken open the window grills to enter the house.
