The brand categories includes Dal Shakti, Eastern Soupmate, Frymate and and Gourmate. Eastern Group also inaugurated its new Rs 30 crore factory in Bangalore to cater to this segment. Dal Shakti includes masala dal, yellow dal , dal tadka and bele saur. It comes in a 56 gm packet and is priced at Rs 10. Soup variety includes tomato, corn and mixed vegetables, which are in 40 gm packets and priced at Rs 20.
While Frymate includes vegetable and chicken which is priced at Rs 20, gourmet products include vegetable curry masala, chicken ticka and butter chicken masala priced at Rs 25. These products come in 40 gm packets.
