<p>Hearing a petition by Rao, who had challenged the probe against him, Justice Subhash K Adi has stayed the matter for four weeks. <br /><br />Bhat had complained that Rao had admitted that he had illicit relationship with Padmapriya, which strained their relationship and eventually led to her death.<br /><br />The lower court, which heard the matter had directed the Manipal Police to probe into the matter and file a report by October 3, 2009. <br /><br />However, Rao challenged the matter in the High Court stating that the investigation has been completed and a charge sheet has been filed. <br /><br />Justice Adi who stayed the probe has also directed the State to secure charge sheet of the earlier case.<br /></p>
