39 suspected cases in North Karnataka

Two persons have been admitted to Karnataka Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS) here on Thursday. Two more from Unkal here, have also been admitted.

Doctors have confirmed that these suspected swine flu patients were being treated at H1N1 special ward.

One more suspected H1N1 case was found in Bijapur district on Thursday. A 29-year-old person of Talikot has been admitted to a hospital.

So far, three suspected H1N1 cases have been found in the district. In Uttar Kannada district, one suspected case in Karwar, one in Haliyal, and two in Honnavar have been reported, and all of them are being treated at the District Hospital.

In Belgaum, nine more suspected cases have been found, and the total number of suspected H1, N1 cases in the district has increased to 28.
