Addressing a press conference on Monday, Dinesh said police had arrested Murugan and his associates. “But it is impossible for Murugan to hatch the conspiracy alone. Political forces must have worked,” he said.
The MLA said that many were jealous of the growing strength of the Congress in Gandhinagar Assembly constituency. “The investigation should not come to an end with the arrest of Murugan. The accused lacked financial capacity to give Rs 25 lakh as supari,” he claimed. Dinesh ruled out the involvement of either BJP or JD(S) in the murder. The forces which tried to finish off former corporator Govindaraju, were behind Nataraj’s murder, he alleged.
