Bishop denies allegations

In a release, Bishop Mathews said the judge’s “observations are totally false” and that the “head of Believers Church does not own any property at all in his name.” Reactions of Bishop Mathews come in the wake of the judge’s observations at a Goa seminar that debated bringing church properties under State laws. The Bishop said “purchase of properties for building churches, institutions and for resource mobilisation for religious activities are made by Believers Church with transparency.”
