The accused are remanded in judicial custody.
Mariningaiah and his son Mahadevu, of Kirugavalu are the arrested. Chikkamanjaiah, belonging to a dalit community had gone to the barber on last Sunday.
He was assaulted with a razor and his nose was severed by Mariningaiah and Mahadevu, who fled the scene after the incident.
Police who had registered a case arrested the duo allegedly hiding at Hebbagodi in Bangalore .
