Tipre sets new meet record in 200IM

Jain University swimmer Surabhi clocked two minutes 29.46 seconds for the gold, leaving behind VTU’s Pooja Alva, who took silver in 2:30.20, and Kshipra Mahajan of RGUHS, who bagged the bronze in 2:36.23.

Surabhi erased the two-year old mark of 2:32.05 set by Pooja. Bangalore University men topped the table with 62 points while Jain University were in the lead in the women’s section with 81 points.
