While 40 people were admitted in the hospital, another 120 people took primary check up from Wednesday night till Thursday. The incident occurred on Wednesday during the farewell party for the final year BAMS students in the college at Ashok Nagar. The people including staff and students were affected by food poison late night with vomiting and loose motion.
Speaking to Deccan Herald, one of the students said that the people who had the burger during the party were taken ill. The student said that the food was brought from a shop near Kadri.
The remaining 40 students were discharged on Thursday. No case has been registered in this regard.
