Colony cleanliness programme

Addressing the reporters, he said that flag hoisting was held in all the colonies at 8 am where SKDRDP has its activities.

The cleanliness drive was started at 9 am with participation of Colony Residents Implementation Committee members, Pragathi Bandhu members, volunteers of the project and residents.

Drains were cleaned and road and well repair works were taken up. Construction of toilets and various other programmes which will be of help to villagers were taken up. Washing stones, waste bins etc were put up in many colonies. About 323 colonies took part in cleanliness programme and over 22,144 families took part in various information programmes.
