Seven patients suffering from symptoms of Chikungunya lying down in front of the Palike office, in a mark of protest.
Hundreds of others suffering with similar symptoms were not able to make it to the protest as they are unable to walk, claimed DPI General Secretary V Murthy.
Meanwhile, one confirmed case of Chikungunya was reported at KC General Hospital on Monday. The patients Karthik (10) and Bharath (11) had given their blood samples for testing. Bharath was confirmed positive.
