CM to take decision on reducing cess on petrol in 3-4 days

"The Government wants to help people. But the prevailing situation is not conducive for reduction. The state is facing drought conditions", Gowda told reporters here.

When his attention was drawn to the fact that Karnataka has highest taxation on petrol, Gowda said "we are collecting details. The state has sufferred Rs 4500 crore loss annually following ban on mining.I will discuss with Finance Department officials and take a decision in three or four days".
